Auckland Central Catholic Schools Kāhui Ako Pasifika Mass
On Thursday 8 June we celebrated our inaugural Pasifika Mass for our Kāhui Ako community at St Joseph's church.
It was a wonderful celebration of our Pasifika children and community across our 15 schools.
Our school was well represented for participation of the Mass. Gedalya Parker from Year 8 read the Rotuman Prayer of the Faithful and our Year 13 students took on various roles too. Maselino Maselino was one of two boys who altar served.
Our combined Marist and ɫֱ's choir 'Confortare Per Mariam' sang beautifully, performing an arrangement of Fa'afetai. Thank you to Josiah Tupa'i, Falakiko Sosefo and John Tangi for their musical leadership of all of the congregational songs during this mass.
