Thursday evening ɫֱ’s College, along with our other Catholic Kāhui Ako schools, celebrated our inaugural Pasifika Mass for our community at St Joseph's church.
It was a bright and vibrant celebration of our Pasifika children and community across our 15 schools. This years theme was taking from Psalm 119:105 “Your word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path”
ɫֱ’s was well represented on the night with John Tangi ɫֱing proceedings off with the blowing of the conch, Maselino Maselino who alter served, Aisea Makasini stepping up to be the College candle bearer and Solomon Nash, Aukustino Etuale, Manatu Tu’akalau and Devante Hurrell-Epati being part of the Gospel Procession.
Mr Marty Willetts also supported the group of students going on the Malaga trip to Samoa who had the opportunity to receive a blessing from Father Tino.
Special thanks also goes to Mr Tutuila Lio Va'auli, our Deputy Chair of the College Board, who was part of the offertory procession.
And lastly a big thank you to Mr Glenn Stanbridge who organised the amazing singers of Josiah Vaái-Tupaí and Revelation and Genesis Tagaloa who blew the congregation away with their singing.
