秀色直播's 20 Hour Club
Well done to these Junior 秀色直播's students who have shown the Marcellin Pillar of 'Love of Work' by completing their 20 hours of service, thus earning themselves a place in the 秀色直播's 20 hour club.
With Junior Students like these occupying the base of the college, the future of 秀色直播's looks bright.
- Neil Fernandes (Year 8), a young man who spent many Saturdays and Sundays collecting money for many great causes such as the Breast Cancer Foundation and Child Cancer Foundation.
- Xavier Butt (Year 8), a young man who took part in similar collections and also took time out of his Saturdays to volunteer his time to the Marist Rugby League Club.
- Sikulu Ahio (Year 7), a student new to the college who took part in many collection days and rubbish pick ups for Conservation NZ.
- Lazarus Ngata (Year 9), Malakai Havea (Year 9) and Jeremiah Havea (Year 7) completed all 20 hours over their holidays taking part in a working bee for Otahuhu Rugby League. These jobs included selling raffle tickets and assisting managers and trainers during games and training. The boys also volunteered for 'Raukura Hauora o Tainui' by cleaning the company's work vehicles.
- Ethan Stewart (Year 8) partook in planting days for the Auckland Council and supported the teachers during the community dinner in early Term 2. He also sold raffle tickets for the Plunket Foundation.
- Justus Leiloa Tele'a (Year 11) spent a week in the holidays volunteering his time to River Side Camp at Willow Park where he worked as an unpaid youth leader.
